Meet The Team

MIKE COLLINS Broker / Owner

Since 2004, Mike has helped people buy, sell, rent, and manage homes in the Jacksonville and Orange Park areas of Northeast Florida. He was an award-winning top Agent at Keller Williams First Coast Realty, prior to opening Collins Property Managers in early 2008.

In addition to Property Management, we specialize in Residential Sales, Investment Properties, Short Sales and Pre-Foreclosures. Jax Home Maintenance the Maintenance company owned by Collins Property Managers.

The business has expanded rapidly over the years and we moved to a new location with larger facilities for the growing business in 2012. Sometimes an owner is not sure whether to sell or rent their property. Our company is uniquely poised to offer a full package. We can list a property and market it for sale, while we simultaneously market it for rent through our proven methods. The vast majority of traditional Realtors are not able to do both professionally. In early 2017 an Affiliate company, NextHomeCollins Realty opened. This provides us with superior tools and staff of Realtors to assist owners, investors and former tenants buy or sell properties.

We can also help people invest in residential properties while taking advantage of current market conditions. Our management skills experience will be especially useful as we continue to expand our Property Management business.

Mike is originally from Larchmont, NY, and a graduate of College of The Holy Cross, one of America's top 30 Colleges. He lives in Fleming Island with his wife Sandy, and they have three grown children, a granddaughter and grandson.


Originally from Gainesville, GA, Sandy attended North Georgia College and earned a Masters Degree from Georgia State University. Her varied background includes teaching high school English and working in Quality Assurance, Customer Service, Marketing and Sales for a computer software company.

She also previously managed the Operations Dept. of General Accident Insurance Company in Atlanta, GA.

She has taught Sunday School at Fleming Island Methodist Church for 10 years, and enjoys tennis, reading, camping and travel.

ANGELA HUGGINSVice President of Operations

Angela Huggins has always been immensely passionate about real estate. As a child, she was the little girl creating LEGO skyscrapers, so it seems appropriate that she graduated with a degree in Civil Engineering. She spent some time in the workforce before deciding to go back to school and pursue an MBA with a focus in Marketing. After years in the workforce as an engineer, Angela decided to combine the two degrees and focus her energy on a career in real estate. She spent 11 years as a successful real estate professional and has recently decided to focus her energy in the property management realm.

Angela joined Green River Property Management as the Vice President of Operations to help landlords and investors feel at ease with their property under management and maximize their return on investment. Angela’s strong moral ethics help her connect to, appreciate and manage tenants, while remaining pro-Landlord. Angela is a reliable, detail-oriented individual that thrives in a fast paced environment. She enjoys interacting with people, helping others and solving problems.

In her free time, Angela enjoys spending time with family and friends, exercising, drinking a glass of Cabernet, supporting the University of Kentucky Wildcats, and the connection and insight gained from visiting and working with different cultures. Developing strong relationships is the foundation of everything she does, both professionally and personally. This philosophy enhances all aspects of her life.


Jeanie was born down the road in Green Cove Springs, FL. She traveled back and forth thru the years between home and Riverside, CA. In 2003 she graduated from SJRSC with a degree in Accounting and is now going on 23 years of accounting experience in various fields.

These include construction, claims and real estate. She is also a long time notary public. When not working, Jeanie enjoys fishing, bowling, surfing, camping, playing beach volleyball and softball. She has coached softball and held a board position for 10+ years at Green Cove Springs Athletic Association.

Kris moved from Charlotte, North Carolina to Fleming Island in 2017. Prior to joining the Green River team, she was a full-time student and worked as an EMT. Kris completed her undergraduate at the College of Charleston, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in both Psychology and Neuroscience.

It is her background in these fields that has helped her excel from her start as Assistant Property Manager all the way to Director of Marketing and Business Development. Kris currently sits on the NEFL NARPM Board as 2021 Secretary and is a registered Realtor® in the state of Florida. 

Outside of work hours, you can find Kris travelling, reading, and relaxing.

Jennifer was born and raised in Pennsylvania and moved to the Jacksonville, FL area in December 2015 with her family. Throughout her career she has held several Managerial positions, which include Information Technology Manager for Hilton Hotel’s Corporation as well as Marketing Coordinator for GE Healthcare – Women’s Healthcare Ultrasound.

Jennifer is focused on delivering consistent cost-saving strategies, incorporating process streamlining, and resource management. Mastering real estate rental market trends and providing excellent customer service are two of her top priorities. She is known for being a visionary, problem solver, effective communicator, and relationship builder with both owners and tenants. She recognizes the value and trust her clients place in her and she strives every day to exceed their expectations!

In her free time, you will find her admiring a beautiful sunset with family and friends while enjoying casual conversations with plenty of food and drinks.

Liz Williams Assistant Property Manager

Liz Williams has over 10 years of experience locally in Real Estate, and currently serves as an Assistant Property Manager with Green River Property Management. Her extensive background includes corporate leadership, training, general marketing, office management, sales, education, and the performing arts in which she actively volunteers her time and talents with local non-profits in the community.

Liz has a success record of connecting the dots between renters, owners and investors. Honesty and integrity, along with building trusting relationships, are the philosophies that she strives for in all aspects of her life. Applying these principles to her business has allowed her to flourish as an individual and in Real Estate.

Amanda Wittschen Leasing Coordinator

Amanda was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay area, California. She is 24 years married and boasts about her 2 wonderful children. This, of course, does not count her furbabies (3 English Bulldogs, 1 French Bulldog, a rescue mutt, and 2 cats). Her favorite College Team is the Georgia Bulldogs (GO DAWGS! - did her pets give that one away?).

Outside of the office you will find Amanda pursuing her Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a minor in child psychology. She loves crafting, performing arts, musicals and plays. In her free time, she enjoys volunteering. You might find her lending a helping hand at Habitat for Humanity, Light the Night Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, one of the Heal Autism walks, or Toys for Tots.

Tom was born in Omaha, Nebraska, raised in Iowa and spent his young adult life moving around with the Navy where he retired after 21 years of service. With his degree in Banking and Finance, he became the vice-president of a bank and trust.

He is married to his childhood sweetheart and they have 4 children, 8 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Tom loves sport, especially football. He is a huge JAGS fan!
